A stormy session of the National Assembly will begin today (Monday) with the opposition parts expected to give tough time to the ruling party on the issue of news-gate. Sources said that as this would be the first session of the National Assembly after the dawn leak controversy, the opposition parties are going to demand from the government to make public dawn leak report.

A meeting of the opposition parties is expected to take place in the Parliament ahead of the session under the chairmanship of Opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah to finale the joint strategy. Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has already submitted an adjournment motion to discuss the dawn leak issue by deferring the agenda of the day. Besides legislative business, the House will discuss important national issues. The National Assembly is also expected to begin debate on President's address to joint sitting of the Parliament on 1st of June this year. The House has already passed a motion for the purpose moved by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed.
